This Instagram account is one all about dogs. It's no typical dog Instagram account because all the content posted is a joke, in the common "meme" format. The account posts both photos and videos relatively frequently. The majority of the content is not their own, or the pictures are provided to them by others and they simply caption it something funny. This Instagram account also has an associated website, where they sell merchandise related to dogs. They claim that a portion of the revenues from their website goes back to rescues; dogs that have been rescued. Here we have an example of a picture on the left and a still from a video on the right:

What do they do well?
It's really quite simple; they combine the love of dogs and the love of memes that the people of Instagram and the internet have. They post very original, funny and relatable content. They also reference all of their content if it is not originally theirs. If the picture or the entire meme was created by someone else, they mention it in the caption. For example, here is a picture where the dog's owner is referenced in the caption:
Furthermore, they advertise their merchandise in a way that is consistent with their content. They will incorporate the picture of their advertised product in the meme in order for it to still feel natural. Here is an example of a shirt being sold on their website, the link to which is located in the bio:
Since stealing content is a common problem on the internet, but with Instagram accounts in particular since it is so easy, this account does a good job in respecting the original content creator. The account sometimes reposts a picture from another account. They will not only include their handle in the caption, but also leave their watermark in the picture. Here is an example of a picture posted by mytherapistsays that was reposted by the account:
What could they improve on?
There is not much to fault, in relative terms, for this account. The one thing would be the frequency of their self-advertisement. As it was previously mentioned, the way they show off their own merchandise is very fitting to the account but it is a little much. Scrolling through the feed, you can find yourself encountering about two merchandise posts out of ten in total. For an account that doesn't post very frequently, their followers may get annoyed when they see that what they've posted isn't actual fun content. It may aggravate them and make them want to unfollow the account.
How about monetization?
The most obvious way of monetizing is by promoting their website in order to get followers to purchase merchandise. In one of the earlier sections we show how they promote their merchandise. They also sporadically promote their website by referring to their bio in a caption, which contains their website address. Here is an example of this:
They also seem to be selling caption mentions in order to feature other accounts in order for them to gain more followers. Here we have an example where the account mentions _theblessedone's account:
Overall, it seems that they monetize by advertising their own website's products as well as selling mentions to other similar accounts.
