This Instagram account is full of beautiful french bulldogs. It is run by a dog breeder based out of the Bay Area in California. They sell near perfect specimen french bulldogs. Their account is solely pictures of the dogs that they have bred or are using for breeding. All pictures are their own and of extremely high and adorable quality. They tend to take some creative pictures and have a large assortment of dogs to take pictures of. How can you resist the cuteness of some of these pictures, like a frenchie on a roomba:
What do they do well?
To start with, all pictures posted are their own. This assures high quality images that can only be found in one place. Not only are they unique to them but they are also very diversified. They have many dogs, all of which they take many different pictures of. You can explore their feed for hours looking at cute dogs. Furthermore, they are not forcing or trying to get people to buy these dogs in an annoying or in your face manner. This allow for a very pure and enjoyable experience.
What could they improve on?
One thing is that they do not watermark all their photos, only some are. This makes it easy for people who steal content to take the images of off their page in order to post to their account. This doesn't harm them very much but it can be very frustrating. They should watermark all of their content. Furthermore, in order to get more traffic through to their website, where people can get in contact to buy a frenchie, they can mention their website in certain captions. If they are to have a frenchie that is still for sale they could invite onlookers to visit their website in order to inquire about the frenchie. Below we see an non-watermarked photo that doesn't give any specifications of whether the dog is still available:
How about monetization?
It seems that this account monetizes through their website, where people can get in touch in order to purchase a frenchie. Their entire page acts pretty much as a catalogue for all present and past frenchies. This gives them exposure to people who may be interested in acquiring a dog as such. In their bio, they provide their website:
As it has been mentioned, they don't directly say that they have a pup for sale. Rather, sometimes they provide a description of the baby frenchie so that an onlooker can gain more information and further be enticed to browse the website and perhaps make a purchase. Here is an example of the brief description:
This account uses their 29k follower base to target a market they may be interested in some beautiful frenchies. They get free exposure, which could draw in more potential clients and perhaps more interest on certain dogs, causing high prices to be asked for and accepted.
